Most of the work performed during my Ph.D. regards notifications. I proposed two main different solutions to provide support to both end-users and developers.
This work is devoted to the development of a framework to assist developers in creating cross-device notifications by scripting.

All the details of such work are described in the late-breaking results untitled "XDN: Cross-Device Framework for Custom Notifications Management" and published in the proceedings of the 9th ACM SIGCHI Symposium on Engineering Interactive Computing Systems (EICS).


In addition, we are writing another paper that describes the whole framework and discuss initial results. It will be published in the next month; in the meantime, you can consult the slides I used to present the work at the EICS conference:
